With more than 25 years of experience to her credit, Ms. Tolson has excelled as the chief executive officer for Angel in My Pocket, a company dedicated to assisting the elderly, since 1995. During this time, she pursued an education at ECPI College of Technology, from which she earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences in 1997. Moreover, she obtained her certification as a medical and clinical assistant with Tidewater Tech-Trades in 2003. In light of her exceptional accomplishments, Ms. Tolson received a Plaque from Women of Power Magazine, in which she was featured in two editions throughout 2022.
Attributing her success to the word-of-mouth from her customers and clients, Ms. Tolson was drawn to her field while working with the elderly to help pay for her education, through which she had focused on medical transcription. Finding a passion for caring for the elderly, she is incredibly proud to have built a company that allows her to connect with families and ensure the proper care for people’s loved ones. Looking toward the future, Ms. Tolson hopes to relocate to Maryland, establish an adult daycare and assisted living location and continue to expand her businesses.
