With over two decades of experience to his credit, Mr. Milam is a rising expert in the real estate industry. Since 2001, he has served with Marcus & Millichap, specializing in commercial real estate brokerage and having closed deals in across the United States, including in Washington, D.C., Maryland, Florida, Virginia, and New York. Originally joining the company as an associate, he was appointed to the position of senior first vice president of investments in 2009, and he has operated in this role ever since. Over the course of his tenure, Mr. Milam previously held positions as a senior associate, a senior investment associate, and the vice president of investments. As part of his professional dedication, he also remains affiliated with Landmark Worldwide. Outside of his professional duties, Mr. Milam is dedicated to civic advocacy, regularly participating as a donor at Shriners Hospital for Children.
Prior to embarking on his vocational journey, Mr. Milam pursued a formal education, completing coursework at Howard University. He also earned his real estate license in the states of Maryland and Virginia, as well as in Washington, D.C. Well regarded for his accomplishments in the field, Mr. Milam has received several accolades from Marcus & Millichap, including their Sales Recognition Award from 2001 to 2007 and in 2010, 2012, and 2014, and their National Achievement Award from 2002 to 2006 and in 2010. Furthermore, he was named to their Chairman’s Club and in their Top Twenty Nationally in 2004. To wit, he attributes much of his success to his honesty and integrity. In the coming years, Mr. Milam hopes to continue growing his portfolio alongside his brother, primarily working in student housing and family mortgage deals.
