With over two decades of experience to his credit, Mr. Hollingsworth is a proven leader in the field of public safety. Since 2001, he has served with the Toledo Police Department, originally joining as a personnel lieutenant. Since 2021, he has held the position of police captain. During his tenure with the department, he also operated as a personnel sergeant from 2014 to 2018 and as a personnel section commander between 2018 and 2021. Specializing in operations, human relations and administration, Mr. Hollingsworth is well regarded for his accomplishments in the field, having been named Command Officer of the Year in 2021.
Before embarking on his vocational journey, Mr. Hollingsworth pursued a formal education, earning a Bachelor of Science in ministry and Bible at Kentucky Christian University in 1994. He recently continued his studies and earned a Master of Business Administration at Mount Vernon Nazarene University in 2022. As part of his dedication to his profession, he also remains affiliated with the International Association of Chiefs of Police and the International Conference of Police Chaplains. Attributing much of his success to his faith and integrity, Mr. Hollingsworth hopes to retire or move into nonprofit work in the near future.
