Roy Carl Stuebinger, retired owner and architect at Stuebinger Architects, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the field of architecture.
With over five decades of experience to his credit, Mr. Stuebinger excelled as the owner and architect at Stuebinger Architects. Specializing in town planning and commercial and institutional work, he originally founded his company in 1990 and oversaw the business until he retired in 2006. Prior to founding his own company, he worked in a variety of roles, including as a construction manager for Gruen Associates between 2003 and 2005, the chief urban planner for Saudi Arabian Parsons Ltd. between 1998 and 1999, and the vice president and corporate architect for the California Federal Bank from 1987 to 1997. He also worked extensively with F & A Architects as a project manager, director and designer between 1980 and 2003. Mr. Stuebinger began his career in 1963, serving as a designer and planner for Chapman, Phillips, Brandt, Reddick and Associates until 1965.
As part of his vocational journey, Mr. Stuebinger pursued a formal education at the University of Southern California, where he earned a Bachelor of Architecture in 1967. In addition, he is also a licensed architect in the state of California, and he was previously licensed in Hawaii until 2006. Since he was 16 years old, Mr. Stuebinger naturally gravitated towards a career as an architect, having held a sincere interest in the field. To wit, he attributes much of his success to his passion for his work. Over the course of his career, Mr. Stuebinger has been most notably proud to have been able to work in the Middle East for several years, where he contributed to numerous projects in Dubai, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
