As the founder and chief executive officer of Conference Catalysts, LLC, he oversees all operations and is deeply invested in business development and advancing internal infrastructure. Additionally, he has served as a conference manager at more than 150 conferences, meetings and events over the past 16 years. His most notable accomplishment is bringing aboard many high-quality employees to support his business. Earlier in his career, Mr. Dyer served as a technical sales and support representative at Surface Systems & Instruments, Inc. from 2004 to 2006. Additionally, he ran a successful landscaping company for 12 years.
In preparation for his career, Mr. Dyer earned a bachelor’s degree in finance at Kansas State University in 2006. To keep abreast of changes in his field, he maintains memberships with Meeting Professionals International, the Professional Convention Management Association and the Greater Gainesville Chamber of Commerce.
Convention South Magazine recognized Mr. Dyer as one of 22 Meeting Pros to Watch. Notably, his company received the Cvent Excellence and Sourcing Award and has been among the top three finalists for Cvent’s Best in Return on Event Award and Partner of the Year Award. Moreover, his business was selected as a top-three finalist for the Employer of the Year Award by the Greater Gainesville Chamber of Commerce.
A committed member of his local community, Mr. Dyer has volunteered with the United Way of North Central Florida since 2014. He and his team at Conference Catalysts, LLC also work regularly with the Alachua County Humane Society, the local Habitat for Humanity, and Peaceful Paths, which is an organization that assists victims of domestic abuse.
