Since 2010, he has operated as the owner and chief executive officer of Infinity Engineering and Fabrication, where he specializes in engineering and designing equipment for workers to be used worldwide. Many of his operations are based in Malaysia. Prior to his current appointment, he served as the technical director and international sales director of Amistco Separations Products from 1998 to 2010 and the technical manager of Koch-Otto York and Otto H. York Company from 1992 to 1998. Mr. Kalis originally began his career by spending 15 years at various oil refineries in South American and the Middle East.
Prior to embarking on his vocational journey, Mr. Kalis pursued a formal education at The Hague University of Applied Sciences in his homeland of the Netherlands, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering in 1975. He has also authored numerous articles pertaining to technology and hydrocarbon processing for several oil and gas journals. Well regarded for his accomplishments in the field, his company received a distinction for international oil and gas from a Houston, Texas-based award program in 2019. In light of his fulfilling career, Mr. Kalis is most notably proud to have improved separation technology in his field, which in turn helped to create many new jobs in his field.
