Since 2014, Ms. Arellano has found success as the owner of Active Media Professionals, where she contributes her talents for creative relevant marketing idea generation. Active Media Professionals serves businesses of all sizes. Ms. Arellano’s areas of expertise include marketing, media, advertising, broadcasting, public relations, content creation, and business communications. In preparation for her career, she earned a Bachelor of Science in mass communications, advertising, broadcast, and public relations from Colorado State University-Pueblo in 1996.
Alongside her entrepreneurial pursuits, Ms. Arellano has been with InBank, formerly Legacy Bank, since 2002. In 2014, she became the bank’s marketing director, and in 2022 she advanced to the post of marketing coordinator. Prior to her current posts, she was a multi-media marketing consultant for The Pueblo Chieftain from 1998 to 2014 and a human resources and marketing assistant with Sunstone Hotels from 1997 to 1999. From 1994 to 1997, Mr. Arellano garnered experience as on-air talent with McCoy Broadcasting.
For her accomplishments, Ms. Arellano has been honored during Women’s History Month in 2022, and Active Media Professionals earned recognition as an Allies Top Four Best Marketing Campaign in 2018. In 2017, Pueblo West View named her a Women in Business Outstanding Professional, and in both 2017 and 2013, she was recognized for Media Excellence in Advertising by the Southern Colorado Press Club. Ms. Arellano attributes her success to her family and her faith. In the coming years, she hopes to continue her legacy and hopes to see her five children be able to work for themselves in the future and have a positive impact on society.
