Since 2013, Ms. Zeleny has excelled as the operator of the Oakland Meat Processing Plant. In this post, she answers calls from customers, sets up the facility for the day’s work, takes care of cattle, and even wraps meat. Her areas of expertise include human resources, advertising, operations, and management. For her success, Ms. Zeleny was nominated for a Person of the Year Award in 2021 and was featured in an Omaha newspaper. Prior to her current position, she served for three years as a certified nursing assistant and medical aide.
Alongside her primary professional endeavors, Ms. Zeleny is a volunteer coach for high school women’s wrestling and youth wrestling. She attributes her success to her hard work and passion for her profession, and among her accomplishments, she is most proud of being a mother of two children. Both her kids wrestle, and she and her husband both coach the sport. Ms. Zeleny’s goal in the coming years is to expand the location she works in and continue the growth of her organization. In her spare time, she enjoys, fishing, wrestling, and demolition derbies.
