With much professional experience to his credit, Mr. Vega Diaz currently excels as an officer for the Government of Puerto Rico’s Department of Security. In this position, he is dedicated to the protection of individuals and property within his community, including the stunning and stealing of vehicles as well as gathering evidence of potential crimes. Noted for being a driven, determined and focused figure in his field, he is inspired by the opportunity to help others during times of need and crisis, including protecting others in the face of natural disasters such as hurricanes. In addition to these responsibilities, Mr. Vega Diaz devotes his time and attention to humanitarian efforts, volunteer work within his community, his affiliation with APIES and regional theatrical endeavors.
To support his pursuits and goals throughout his career, Mr. Vega Diaz pursued an education at Universidad del Turabo, part of the Ana G. Méndez University system, from which he earned a bachelor’s degree in business. During this time, he was recognized with an Award for his exceptional academic accomplishments. He ultimately concluded his studies at NUC University, having graduated with a master’s degree in human resources. Looking toward the future, Mr. Vega Diaz hopes to focus on working in the private sector while further studying labor relations in order to better help those who need guidance.
