With nearly three decades of experience to his credit, Mr. Bailey is a proven expert in the field of hospitality. Specializing in finance management and fine cuisine, he has served as the executive chef at the Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa since 2019. He has operated in the same position for the majority of his career with a variety of companies and resorts, including Bay Colony Beach Club from 2013 to 2019, the LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort from 2010 to 2013, and The Mayo Hotel between 2009 and 2010. Mr. Bailey originally began his career in 1994, working as a chef for the President of Swiss Chefs Association and Five Star Hotel in Surrey, England, until 1996. As part of his dedication to his profession, he also remains affiliated with the American Culinary Federation and the Chaine des Rotisseurs.
Originally from Canada, Mr. Bailey pursued a formal education in his homeland, earning a Certificate in Culinary Arts at Vancouver Community College in 1992. Additionally, he is level two certified in wine and spirits and as an executive chef. Adjacent to his primary endeavors, Mr. Bailey continues to serve his community as a civic-minded citizen, volunteering with such organizations as Goodwill Industries International Inc. and the Human Trafficking Coalition of the Palm Beaches. Well-regarded for his accomplishments in the field, he has been honored with several awards over the course of his career, including a Best Event Award from the Willard InterContinental Washington D.C. Hotel. Attributing much of his success to his persistence and dedicated work ethic, he is most notably proud to have worked with and mentored many rising stars in the culinary industry. Looking to the future, Mr. Bailey hopes to continue promoting and providing exposure to his food and team at the Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa.
