With more than 25 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Goldberg has excelled as the director of security for MGM Protection Services since 2017 and the director of safety and security for Marriott Vacations Worldwide since 2015. Prior to these appointments, he was active as the district trainer with AlliedBarton Security Services from 2014 to 2015, a Comm 1 Pembroke Pines Police and Fire Dispatcher from 2013 to 2014, a senior telecommunication specialist with AT&T from 2000 to 2013 and a senior facility technician with Bellsouth from 1998 to 2000. A former consultant with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms, he began his career as a temporary service technician at Bellsouth from 1997 to 1998. As a testament to his exceptional endeavors, Mr. Goldberg has been honored as the Georgia Security for the Quarter by Marriott on two occasions, the Director of the Year by Marriott and with the Safety and Security Perfect Award for Audit.
Before embarking upon his professional path, Mr. Goldberg pursued an education at Broward College, from which he earned an Associate of Science in liberal arts in 1993. He subsequently obtained an Associate of Science in electrical and electronics engineering at the ATI Career Training Center in 1997. Mr. Goldberg concluded his formal studies at the American InterContinental University-South Florida in 2007, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in business administration and management. Looking toward the future, Mr. Goldberg hopes to transform MGM Protection into a household name while extending their services into local public school systems.
