Leopoldo Dorantes, Message Delivery and Communication Specialist, and Certified Court Interpreter, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in interpretive and translational services.
Since 2015, Mr. Dorantes has excelled as a message delivery and communication specialist. Since 1995, he has been working as an interpreter and translator for Certified Translation and Interpreting Services. He is a state-certified interpreter in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California and New York, specializing in speech communications, multicultural relations and network project coordination. In his current posts, Mr. Dorantes coordinates, develops and bridges language and cultural communication through interpretation between Spanish and English.
In preparation for his career, Mr. Dorantes attended the University of Texas at Brownsville, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish language and literature in 1996 and a master’s degree in Spanish language and interpretation in 2000. In 2004, he concluded his higher education at the institution with a bachelor’s degree in metallurgy technology and translation studies. In 2014, Mr. Dorantes was featured in the New York Times. In the coming years, he hopes to pursue voiceover acting, commercial spots and conference interpreting. He also plans to mentor with a state program for court interpreters.
