Cyndi L. Najar, MEd, CFP®, ChSNC®, Director of the Special Needs Planning Division at Lafargue Financial Group Inc., has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in financial services.

With 35 years of experience to her credit, Ms. Najar has excelled as the director of the special needs planning division of the LaFargue Financial Group since 2020. Prior to this appointment, she served as an office administrator for the LaFargue Financial Group between 2013 and 2020. She was previously active as a paraprofessional with Sand Springs Public Schools and the Hissom Memorial Center from 1988 to 1990, a program coordinator for Transitional Living from 1990 to 1992 and a special education teacher with the Commerce Independent School District from 2004 to 2009. Ms. Najar began her career as an on-call emergency responder.

Before embarking on her professional path, Ms. Najar initially pursued an education at Texas A&M University, from which she earned a bachelor’s degree, with honors, and a master’s degree in education. She concluded her studies with a master’s degree in organizational and human resource development with a minor in conflict resolution and mediation at Abilene Christian University. Moreover, Ms. Najar has been licensed as a conflict resolution mediator, certified as a financial planner since 2020 and chartered as a special needs consultant since 2021.

Beyond her primary responsibilities, Ms. Najar has participated in numerous endeavors outside of her immediate professional circles. Between 2010 and 2013, she was recruited as the coordinator for Northwest Arkansas with WestArk RSVP. Ms. Najar has also been affiliated with the Financial Planners Association and the Academy of Special Needs Planners.

Ms. Najar attributes her success to her passion for her profession, as it motivates her to thrive in her work with people with developmental disabilities. Exposed to individuals with special needs during her early childhood, she was further inspired to work as a certified financial planner for people with developmental disabilities by her personal experiences in her own family, as two of her children have Down syndrome. Proud of garnering his academic honors at Texas A&M University, Ms. Najar is currently studying to become an ambassador for Charting the LifeCourse, which would provide her with additional tools and skills to aid the family of special needs individuals.
