She continued her higher education at the same institution, graduating in 1986 with a Master of Science in Nursing. Alongside her formal degrees, Ms. Ellender is a certified Real Estate Negotiation Expert, a designation she earned in 2020, and a Licensed Realtor, which she earned in 2006. She also holds the Committed to Excellence (C2EX) and At Home with Diversity (AHWD) designations from the National Association of REALTORS.
Ms. Ellender has been recognized for her accomplishments with a Rising Star Award from Margaret Rudd and Associates. From 2020 to 2022, she was including in the Top 300 Producers by Brunswick County Real Producers. In 2022, she was featured in Agent Magazine. To keep abreast of the real estate industry, Ms. Ellender is a member of the Brunswick County Association of Realtors. As a health care professional, she has also been a member of the North Carolina Nurses Association and the American Nurses Association.
Ms. Ellender remains active in her community, participating in food drives and beach clean-ups. She is affiliated with both the Moose Lodge and the Ocean View Methodist Church. She attributes her success to her integrity, her ability to care, her listening skills and clear communication. Ms. Ellender is proud of her professional accomplishments but considers having raised three successful sons her greatest achievement.
