Eric Koboldt, Owner and Chief Executive Officer of B&C Lighting, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in lighting.

Since 2017, Mr. Koboldt has been the owner and chief executive officer of B&C Lighting in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He holds expertise in LED lighting, night lights, stage lights, vehicle lights, cabinet lights and high-end studio lighting. In his post, he oversees teams of workers, holds conference calls with clients and travels to clients’ offices in the United States and Europe. Among his professional accomplishments, Mr. Koboldt introduced the first white LED lights outside of light bulbs to the General Electric Company. He also helped to create the first remote phosphor lantern that provides 360-degree light from an LED light source.

In preparation for his career, Mr. Koboldt attended Rose State College and graduated with an associate degree in business administration and management in 2002. During his higher education, he was recognized on the President’s Honor Roll. In addition to his formal degree, Mr. Koboldt has attended numerous seminars on LED lighting, OSRAM products, NICHIA products and Philips Lumileds.

Prior to his current position, Mr. Koboldt worked with Universal Studios. He was a developer of lighting products and the owner of a landscaping company. Alongside his professional endeavors, he has donated to community school programs and volunteered at a local food bank. Mr. Koboldt has been affiliated with Water for Life and the American Red Cross.

For his professional excellence, Mr. Koboldt was ranked 22nd in the world for creative and unique design and manufacturing of lighting by Philips Lumileds. In the coming years, he hopes to see a sustained 13% growth rate for his company and aims to further develop its reputation as the best firm in the lighting industry. In his spare time, Mr. Koboldt enjoys music, sports and spending time with his family.
