Since 2020, Mr. Nichols has excelled as a human resources people development specialist at Stellantis, formerly Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. In this role, he handles recruiting, new hire orientation and leadership development programs. He conducts investigations and works with corporate attorneys to resolve issues. An eminently qualified professional, Mr. Nichols was cross trained on both the labor and employment sides of human resources. He works at the facility where Jeep Wranglers and Jeep Gladiators are built. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he took over COVID-related projects, developing standard operating procedures and implementing them in the plant.
In preparation for his career, Mr. Nichols attended Missouri Western State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in business administration in 1983. Following his graduation, he served in the U.S. Army from 1983 to 1989 as a material and logistics officer, for which he received a U.S. Army Achievement Medal. In recognition of his professional excellence, Mr. Nichols received a Most Flexible Manager award and a Best Employee Relations Award. Alongside his primary endeavors, he is a second-degree reiki practitioner, a designation he has held since 2011. Mr. Nichols is also a certified practitioner in reading the heart of Akashic record. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling to ancient sites, learning about history and fishing.
