Judith “Judy” Louise Maier, former president of the United States Women’s Curling Association, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in business organization.
With more than 60 years of experience to her credit, Ms. Maier has cultivated a career of excellence in business management and civic advocacy. For much of her career, she excelled as the president of the United States Women’s Curling Association for much of her career, originally entering the field of the sport in 1966. She recently retired from her leadership position during the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to her more recent position, Ms. Maier served as a medical assistant for the anesthesiology department at the Marquette University School of Medicine from 1957 to 1965.
Adjacent to her primary professional endeavors, Ms. Maier has remained active as a civic-minded citizen. To wit, she has volunteered with and chaired many local curling clubs, and she is a former member of the Volunteer Service Club of Pewaukee, having served with the organization for 50 years. Well-regarded for her accomplishments in the field, she is particularly proud to be one of four individuals to ever receive an Award for Participation and Leadership from the United States Women’s Curling Association. Attributing much of her success to her dedication to her profession, Ms. Maier hopes to continue contributing to the sport of curling in the coming years.
