Mr. Hilliker joined the company in 1968, and through hard work for many years, became president in 1982, following in the footsteps of his father, who served in the role of the company’s president from the late 1960s to 1981. With a keen eye on financial services, investments and making decisions on behalf of the company, Mr. Hilliker is proud of the legacy he has been able to create. He attributes the success of the company to the top notch customer service skills he and his company provide for the clients.
Mr. Hilliker earned a Bachelor of Arts in finance from Syracuse University in 1956 and learned after graduating how rewarding a career in this field could be. He realized there was a great potential for growth and set upon a path of growing and leading on his own. In addition to working for S.C. Parker & Co., Inc., he has been a sales associate for the Standard Register, president and owner of Can Oui Fly, Inc., vice president and director of Tonawanda Share Corporation, and director of Connohio, Inc.
In addition to these roles, Mr. Hilliker has been engaged with his community on a civic level. This includes membership with the Buffalo Chamber of Commerce, the board of directors of the Alcoholism Services of Erie County, and with the Epilepsy Association of Western New York, and Heritage Ministries. He has maintained professional affiliation with the National Association of Securities Dealers, the Bond Club of Buffalo, the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, the National Rifle Association, the New York Christmas Tree Growers Association, the Syracuse University Alumni Association, Psi Upsilon Alumni, Mid-Day Club of Buffalo, Springville Country Club, the Aero Club of Western New York, FINRA, the Securities Investor Protection Corporation, and Tonawanda Share Corporation. He has been featured in Who’s Who in Finance and Industry.
