Louvell A. Anderson, DD, Executive Director at Old Camp Ground, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in religious services.

Teaching for more than 50 years, Dr. Anderson has always held a love for people and humanity and has spent his life sharing the word of God around the globe. Traveling across the United States and overseas to Russia, the Republic of Korea, France, Poland, Germany, the United Kingdom and Greece, he has also performed ministry services in the Caribbean nations and participated in missionary trips to spread the faith. He has been an overseer of several organizations, and most recently served Lighthouse Evangelistic Prayer Cathedral as an apostle since 1998.

A professor at Chicago Baptist Institute International since 2014, Dr. Anderson holds an extensive education, including two Bachelor of Arts, a Master of Arts in pastoral counseling, a Master of Theology, and a Doctor of Divinity. He formerly taught as a public school teacher and consultant in California and Louisiana, and he has also been acting as a bishop and overseer of Old Camp Ground for more than 25 years. Dedicating his life to educating others about religion, Dr. Anderson has also lent his expertise as a speaker in his field and a minister at several international churches.

Dr. Anderson has also authored three books: “Two Women to Avoid in the 21st Century and One Woman to Embrace Into Eternity” in 2010, “The Adventure of Prayer & Forgiveness Through Spiritual Warfare” in 2010, and “The Test Of The Anointed Leadership In The Pulpit To Combat the Wolf, the Dog and the Pig and the Little Foxes that Spoil the Vines” in 2012. Alongside these works, he has also penned various books on ministry, leadership and church growth, including inspirational guides that display messages on leadership and prayer. He has also appeared before a variety of television and radio programs.

In recognition of his exceptional contributions to religion and education, Dr. Anderson has accrued several accolades throughout his career. Honored as one of 3,000 Noted American Businessmen in 1993, he was a featured listee in Who’s Who in California in 1989 and was named one of the Nation’s Top Public Speakers by the American Banking Institute in 1972. Notably, he has received numerous letters of commendations from such prominent figures as Governor George Deukmejian, President Gerald Ford, President George Bush, and President Bill Clinton. However, the highlight of his career was when he traveled to the Republic of Korea and spoke to 30,000 followers in the Prayer Mountains in 1983. Recently, Dr. Anderson did a mission trip to India from February 26-March 6  with the King Crusade.
