He remained with the company for the entirety of his career and moved up the ranks from a vice president, to the managing director, to the director, to a senior advisor between 1963 and 1992, when he retired.
In addition to his immediate professional achievements, Mr. Yancey served as a senior advisor for Ad Media Partners, Inc., a chairman, and director for the Czech and Slovak American Enterprise Fund, and had a business partnership with Board Whittle Communications L.P. In recognition of his service to his country, he received the President’s USA Freedom Corps Call to Service Award from the United States Agency for International Development in 2006. Mr. Yancey contributes his free time to the Harvard Club of New York City and the Pilgrims of the United States.
