Judy Kay Gray, Chief Executive Officer and Founder at North American Herb and Spice, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership.

As the first individual in her family to graduate from college, Ms. Gray earned a Bachelor of Science in education from the University of Central Missouri in 1967. She proceeded to remain at the university for one more year, earning a Master of Science in education. In 1969, she began her career as a dietician applicant at the Independence Sanitarium and Hospital. Shortly thereafter, she transitioned to work with the Department of the Army at Fort Leonard Wood as an instructor. In the following years, she brought her skills to varying esteemed institutions, including Big Bend College, Central Texas College, and Temple University.

In 1982, Ms. Gray took on a position as a marketing specialist for Specialized Marketing in Dallas, Texas. This was the first of many future positions in the corporate world for her, as she quickly discovered a passion for the field. In 1990, Ms. Gray became the president of the American Institute of Curative Medicine. She remained there for eight years, going on to take on the role of chief executive officer and founder of North American Herb and Spice LLC in 1999. She was very concerned about treats that pets were being fed and developed nutritious treats for pets that not only make them happy but are good for their overall health and physical well-being. Furthermore, she wanted to address women’s special needs naturally and formulated a line of products that include products for healthy bones, mental clarity, better bodies and beautiful skin and hair to help busy women stay healthy and happy.

Ms. Gray continues to excel with her company today, alongside her more recent venture as owner of JK Gray Antiques.

Outside of her business endeavors, Ms. Gray is a successful author. She has contributed to numerous articles in professional journals, as well as authoring the children’s book, “Kids Need Care.” She has additionally written the book, “Greatest Treasure of All,” and also served as a co-author on “The Handbook of Nutrition Quizzes,” and “Eat Right or Die Young.” Looking back on her professional success, Ms. Gray attributes many of her accomplishments to a higher being, persistence, and determination. In light of her myriad achievements, she is featured in the 22nd edition of Who’s Who in the Midwest.
