Ramon Bravo Gonzalez, PhD, PMP, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in public policy and project management.
An internationally-recognized professional with expertise in project management, research and the conduction of economic and policy analyses of U.S. regulation, Dr. Bravo Gonzalez currently consults for Policy Navigation Group, a boutique consulting firm based in the Washington, D.C. area. His journey began as a student at the Fundación Universidad de las Américas Puebla (UDLAP), one of the top private universities in Latin America, who awarded him a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance in 2001. During his undergraduate studies, Dr. Bravo Gonzalez was selected as one of just 30 participants in the Washington Center’s NAFTA Leaders Program, a prestigious academic program that allowed him the opportunity to complete a public affairs internship at the Canadian Embassy in Washington, D.C. The experience left Dr. Bravo Gonzalez with an abiding curiosity about working in the field of public policy. He relocated to Sweden to study at Lund University, where he completed a Master of Science in Environmental Management and Policy in 2003.
Dr. Bravo Gonzalez began his work with Policy Navigation Group in 2006 as a project manager, rising to his current role in 2017. He has continued his studies throughout his career, spending time during the 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 academic years as a visiting scholar at the Columbia Business School and earning a Doctor of Philosophy in management at the University of Glasgow in 2017. Dr. Bravo Gonzalez’ doctoral thesis for the University of Glasgow, “Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Brand Value in Luxury,” has received wide attention for the participation of some of the most important brands in luxury, and the analysis of how CSR / ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) factors can contribute to brand value in this industry. He returned to the University of Glasgow in 2020 as lecturer for the Master of Global Business Program.
He became a graded member (MCIM level) of the Chartered Institute of Marketing in 2018. Dr. Bravo Gonzalez is also member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), from which he obtained the prestigious Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in 2021. He attributes his success to perseverance and a commitment to his goals, and hopes to translate his experience to more senior management roles or establishing an independent consulting firm within five years.
