Daniel Levy, Chief Executive Officer, President and Owner at Advantage Private Home Care, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in health care administration.
Highly regarded for his business acumen and driven personality, Mr. Levy has excelled as the owner and president of Advantage Private Home Care since 2015. Among his duties, he provides one-on-one care to seniors and others in need of extra care, as well as oversees the entire company in terms of sales and operation. Mr. Levy builds off earlier experience as the area vice president of business development for Amedisys from 2011 to 2015. He had also served Maxim Healthcare Services in various roles, including recruiter, accounts manager, senior accounts manager and senior accounts manager of Atlanta between 2000 and 2011. Notably, Mr. Levy has been featured in the Atlanta Jewish Times, attributing his success to a passion for his work and his ability to relate to clients through his own personal experiences.
During his college years, Mr. Levy experienced a tragic accident that, in turn, led him to his current career path. While working as a valet, he was hit by a car and broke multiple bones, leading him to spend almost one month in the hospital and undergoing multiple surgeries. For a year, he was not able to walk without putting a weight on one of his legs and his stepmother, who was a registered nurse, served as his primary care in the home setting. Mr. Levy had been tennis player in NCAA Division II but was forced to end his athletic career and leave his athletic scholarship behind. However, he went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in education from the University of Georgia in 1999. Mr. Levy debated whether to spearhead a career in physical therapy, but when he had the opportunity to work for a national home care company, he realized he could relate to clients based on his own experiences. From this, he became highly motivated to work hard to help families get through a vulnerable time in their lives.
