Mary Maciejewski, Senior Clinical Research Associate at ICON Central Laboratories, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in medical testing.
Following obtaining an Associate of Science in radiologic technology from Indiana University South Bend and an associate of arts from Ball State University, Muncie, Ms. Maciejewski continued her education with a Bachelor of Science in general studies with emphasis on science in 1996 and a Master of Public Administration in 1999 from Indiana University South Bend.
Since 2019, Ms. Maciejewski has excelled as a senior clinical research assistant with ICON Central Laboratories, a firm providing a full range of laboratory services dedicated exclusively to testing and clinical development. In this position, she performs assistant site selection and site visits, monitors their source documents and assists with any issues that the sites are having, demonstrates the management of all investigators’ sites and oversees the sites, performs study management which includes training, reviewing documentation and FDA guidelines that they are following, issues deviations and creates her visit reports.
Previously, Ms. Maciejewski has prospered as team leader and senior clinical research associate with Essential Group from 2007 to 2008, a regional clinical research associate with PharmaNet/i3 Strategic Resourcing from 2009 to 2012 and a senior clinical research associate with PAREXEL from 2015 to 2016 and IQVIA from 2016 to 2018.
Ms. Maciejewski attributes her success to her family who assisted her through her education, as well as her managers, who were her mentors. Her most notable achievement, especially when she worked in oncology, is being able to provide hope for families that have lost hope or any other options. Her goal in the coming years is to continue her work and enter a management role.
