Her professional honors include a Silver Award from both Keller Williams Realty Services and Latter and Blum, with Gross Commission Income (GCI) of $120,000-$179,000 or 27 to 39 units closed. To remain ahead of changes and advancements in her field, Ms. Wilson maintains affiliation with the New Orleans Metropolitan Association of Realtors, the Gulf Coast Association of realtors, the Pearl River County Board of realtors, the National Association of Realtors and the Louisiana Commercial Business Division.
Keenly interested in aiding her community, Ms. Wilson is involved with KW Cares, a nonprofit initiate that was developed to support Keller Williams associates suffering from sudden emergencies such as natural disasters, fires, accidents and funeral expenses. She also volunteers much of her time with several local organizations that support clean-up efforts following disastrous hurricanes.
Ms. Wilson attributes her success to treating people the way she wants to be treated. While her career highlight had been seeing her student’s faces light up whenever they learned something from her when she was still teaching, now that she is in real estate she has experienced the great pleasure of selling houses to her former students. In the coming years, Ms. Wilson is hoping to attain the $10 million sales mark as a realtor.
