Martin Kersten, Executive Director at Christian Crisis Counseling Center, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in counseling, mechanical design and animal training.
Inspired to become involved in his profession because of his desire to care for people, Mr. Kersten has treated clients for nearly five decades with Christian Crisis Counseling Center in Minneapolis as a phone counselor and executive director. Earlier, he had obtained a Bachelor of Science in psychology and a Master of Science in law enforcement, clinical psychology and engineering from Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall. Mr. Kersten is certified in counseling from North Heights Lutheran Church and as an emergency medical technician (EMT).
In addition to his counseling work, Mr. Kersten provided superior service as an emergency medical technician with North Memorial Hospital and as owner and consultant of Dog and Cat Behavior Modification since 1996 and excelled as a mechanical design engineer with CDC from 1987 to 1993.
Mr. Kersten attributes his success to his strong faith and his ability to counsel. In coming years, he is hoping for the continued growth and success of the Christian Crisis Counseling Center.
