Janice Hughes, President and Chief Executive Officer at Energy People Federal Credit Union, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in funds management.
For over two decades, Ms. Hughes has provided superior service as president and chief executive officer of Energy People Federal Credit Union, which proudly serves active and retired employees of Public Service Enterprise Group, a publicly traded diversified energy company in New Jersey. Credit unions offer a full range of banking services, including checking, savings, credit cards, mortgages and loans. In her capacity, Ms. Hughes excels as principal loan officer, compliance officer and in troubleshooting and working with auditors.
Ms. Hughes has prospered while working with Energy People Federal Credit Union since she was fifteen years of age, excelling as a loan and mortgage officer before ascending to her present position. To augment her knowledge she obtained an associate degree from Rowan College at Burlington County (formerly Burlington County Community College). To celebrate 30 years with the firm, she was awarded Energy People Federal Credit Union’s Five-Star Bauer Award. Keenly interested in community affairs, Ms. Hughes is a member of the board of directors of several Florida organizations, the board of directors of the Soccer Association, coaching several local soccer programs.
Ms. Hughes attributes her success to her passion for her work in the union as well as the support of the people including the volunteers, the board of directors, and staff, who have been working for the union. She considers her career highlight to be her exemplary tenure as Energy People Federal Credit Union’s president and chief executive officer. In the coming years, she is hoping for continued success growing the credit union’s membership.
