An experienced financial planner for more than four decades, Mr. Grace founded Investor’s Advantage Corporation (IAC) in 1979, a premier money management firm based in Westlake Village, California, that assists its clients in achieving financial freedom, regardless of their age, and strategically develops portfolios to better prepare them for their future, specializing in wealth management and retirement planning and focusing on investment management, insurance services and corporate retirement planning. Mr. Grace has been a registered principal for LPL Financial since 2021. Headquartered in Boston, it is the largest independent broker-dealer in the U.S. Before LPL Financial he was a Registered Principal with Securities America, Inc. Mr. Grace also formerly excelled as a Registered Principal of National Planning Corporation between 1999 and 2015 and a branch manager for Financial Network Investment Corporation from 1979 to 1999. A columnist for the Ventura County Star from 2013 to 2016, Mr. Grace published “Making Finance Make Sense: Striving to Win” in 2020, a book providing professional advice about confidently planning for one’s future and how to invest without risk. In addition, he has served as a media correspondent guest over 100 times on various news and radio programs and has lectured frequently on a variety of financial topics. Mr. Grace has also conducted workshops for colleagues, corporations, colleges, universities, and adult education programs and has participated as a keynote speaker for several Junior Achievement events throughout Southern California.
Keenly cognizant of community affairs, Mr. Grace currently operates on the board of Realia Foundation. The former president and trustee of the Ventura County Council of the Boy Scouts of America, he is also a former charter member of the Ventura County chapter of the American Heart Association, a past president of the Rotary Club of Westlake Village Sunrise, a former executive board member of the Westlake Village Chamber of Commerce, a former board member and finance committee member of the El Camino College Foundation in Torrance, California, and a former trustee of the California Lutheran Education Foundation at California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks. Mr. Grace currently operates on the board of The Aurelia Foundation. Recognized by the Boy Scouts of America for his contributions to the non-profit organization, Mr. Grace was honored as the Charter Organization Representative of the Year for 2013.
Mr. Grace graduated from Crenshaw High School in 1971 before attending Carleton College and California State University. He is a licensed securities dealer and a member of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. In the coming years, Mr. Grace is hoping for the continued growth and success of Investor’s Advantage Corporation, and hopes to see his book, “Making Finance Make Sense” on best sellers’ lists.
