Mr. Clark began his studies in England, United Kingdom, where he obtained a Bachelor of Laws at the University of Birmingham. He subsequently secured a Master of Laws in transnational business practice at University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, California. As a working professional, he has been an account executive, a senior manager of business development and patent licensing and an intellectual property licensing director. In 2020, he was appointed as the director of North America intellectual property rights and licensing for Ericsson, Inc., a telecommunications company based in Stockholm, Sweden.
Growing up in both the United Kingdom and the United States has contributed to Mr. Clark’s success. Different cultural experiences and environments helped inform his career path, including the knowledge he shares with others as an adviser for Innovate Washington, an incubator program for entrepreneurs in Spokane, Washington.
Mr. Clark was hired at a Silicon Valley firm in one of his first job opportunities. In this position, he learned more about licensing, which became the focus of his career and a driving passion in his life.
