Donald Rosenfeld, Owner and President at Investment Company of New England, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in finance.
Mr. Rosenfeld attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1962 to 1966, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in meteorology. He found that his path led him in a different direction and instead of predicting weather, he went into finance. For 30 years, he has excelled as the owner and president of the Investment Company of New England.
After nearly 50 years, Mr. Rosenfeld’s interest in finance is still ongoing. He was inspired to pursue finance because he had a natural affinity for making money and he enjoyed analyzing data, two skills that are highly useful in the industry. He eventually gained success in the stock market and learned how to turn a profit. He attributes his success to his natural problem-solving ability and determination. His father, who was successful in business and active in his local community, is his biggest inspiration.
Mr. Rosenfeld received a certificate of appreciation from the National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation and he has a membership admission with the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys. He is also a member of the American Meteorological Society. In 1982, his work was named as Photograph of the Month by the Massachusetts State Police Association. He also earned an emergency reaction driving program completion certificate.
Mr. Rosenfeld is a contributor to the arts and a financial supporter of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Boston ballet and several other organizations. His plans for the future include expanding his business and spending more time with his family.
