He concluded his academic efforts with a doctorate in education e-learning from Northcentral University in 2017.
Dr. LaCasse has written several books and articles published in professional journals. He is a member of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, the Sierra Club and the National Rifle Association of America. Professionally, he maintains his affiliation with several groups, including the American Association of University Professors, the American Bar Association and the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers. Dr. LaCasse attributes his success to his parents, who allowed him to explore his own curiosity as long as he stayed safe. He found that he loved learning and he embraced knowledge wherever he could find it.
