In addition to this position, she has been active throughout her career as the director of Royal Health and Humanitarian Services and the president of human resources at Harvest Christian University. Beginning her career working as a nurse assistant, Dr. Cottman initially pursued an education at Harvest Christian University, from which she obtained a bachelor’s degree in 2018 and a Doctor of Philosophy in counseling in 2019.
Beyond her primary responsibilities within her field, Dr. Cottman was notably appointed as a United States ambassador for the United Nations. As a testament to her extraordinary professional endeavors, she was previously presented with a Foster Parent Award. Attributing her success to the influence of her mother, her longstanding empathetic nature and her relationship with God, Dr. Cottman hopes to establish a retreat for children and the elderly in need while continuing to help others within the coming years.
