Who's Who of Top Executives

Hector M. Luna

Title: President
Company: HM Luna Drywall, Inc.
Location: Red Oak, Texas, United States

Hector Luna, President at HM Luna Drywall, Inc., has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in construction contracting.

After initially obtaining an associate degree in accounting in 1968 from the Dr. Andrew Pasuna Institute in Mexico, Mr. Luna immigrated to the United States and founded HM Luna Drywall, Inc. in 1979, a premier construction firm that goes the extra length to ensure that clients’ demands are met and to surpass expectations in residential and commercial projects. Mr. Luna’s responsibilities include overseeing all business operations at every job site and up to 60 employees.

Mr. Luna entered the construction business when a friend invited him to hang some sheetrock. When he started doing the work, he enjoyed it and decided to do more related work. He was eventually hired by a drywall company. Mr. Luna admired the owner and remembers how well he seemed to be doing in life. He felt like he could do it as well and decided to go into business himself. He is most proud in his career of doing his job well and having become a major contractor.

In the coming years, Mr. Luna envisions continuing to do the work he is currently doing but he will eventually retire. For now, he is healthy and wishes to continue until he is ready to stop. In addition, he would like to spend more time with his family and on his ranch.
