After initially obtaining a Bachelor of Business Administration with double major in management and international business from The University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma in 1995, Mr. Miles found much success as a territory sales manager for Philip Morris USA from 1996 to 1998, in sales with Malin Integrated Handling Solutions and Design from 1998 to 2001 and an account executive with D-Tech Corporation from 2001 to 2003.
From 2003 to 2017, Mr. Miles prospered as founder and principal of Lumenate, a technical consulting firm, and since 2013 as principal of business development, channel and strategic partnerships with Fluency, a leading data security provider. In 2019, he founded Kanniboss LLC, a premier dispensary, grower and processor seeking to consistently supply the highest-grade medicinal cannabis and processed concentrates, solvent and solventless, in the Oklahoma medical market. The firm holds an Oklahoma Medicinal Marijuana Authority (OMMA) commercial medicinal marijuana grower license and processor license.
Mr. Miles attributes his success to passion for learning, embracing challenges encompassing risk, not giving up, understanding and acknowledgment that an organization’s greatest asset is its people, regardless of direct team, customers or vendors. He founded his latest company, KanniBoss, because he loves new challenges and recognized that Oklahoma’s legalization of medicinal marijuana would present a long-term opportunity from a state and a national perspective. Additionally, Mr. Miles has an absolute belief in the positive impact of medicinal marijuana.
