Mr. Spraglin was notably presented with two Navy Commendation Medals, a Humanitarian Service Medal, a Navy Achievement Medal, a Navy and Marine Corps Expeditionary Medal, a National Defense Service Medal, an Armed Forces Reserve Medal and the Army Airborne Qualification.

For many years, Mr. Spraglin has excelled with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, in which he has found much success as a senior labor relations specialist with United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), whose stated mission is to protect the United States from the cross-border crime and illegal immigration that threaten national security and public safety. As a Senior Labor Relations Specialist, his responsibilities include administration of contracts, negotiation of contract changes, handling grievances filed by employees that are covered by the contract and arbitrations representing the agency with regard to disciplinary actions and presentations to federal labor relations authority for unfair labor practices. Licensed to practice law in Louisiana, he has been additionally active as the superintendent of church school for St. James AME in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania since 2014. Mr. Spraglin’s firm is in association with Danatus N. King & Associates since 1996. Beyond these positions, Mr. Spraglin excelled in a number of positions with the Greater St. Stephen Full Gospel Baptist Church in New Orleans, Louisiana from 1991 to 2014, the U.S. Bureau of Customs and Border Protection from 2001 to 2015 and the Internal Revenue Service from 1998 to 2001.
