Mr. Woody obtained a Bachelor of Science in chemistry with a minor in biology from the University of Miami in 1973. In addition, he completed coursework at the Institute of Real Estate Management in Chicago and pursued postgraduate coursework with American University in Washington. Mr. Woody successfully passed the Maryland salesman real estate licensing examination and became a Maryland licensed real estate salesman. After completing the required three-year salesman term, he completed the requirements for the Maryland real estate brokers’ license, and after passing the required test was certified as a Maryland real estate associate broker which he considers to be a career highlight.
Backed by his considerable experience, Mr. Woody currently excels as an Emeritus Certified Property Manager, Licensed Maryland Real Estate Associate Broker and an IRS Enrolled Agent and has provided consultations to individuals and businesses that are real estate developers, financial clients and those that have issues with real estate and taxes. For over two decades, he has prospered as president and chief executive officer with ERW Associates LLC, a premier tax preparation agency. To remain aware of changes and advancements in his field, Mr. Woody maintains affiliations with the Maryland Society of Accounting and Tax Professionals, National Association of Tax Professionals and Maryland Real-Estate Brokers. Mr. Woody attributes his success to his terrific parents, as his father was a war hero who worked with General Ralph Canine, the first director of the National Security Agency. In the coming years, he intends to continue as a tax and real estate consultant, as well as publish his second book shortly.
