Ms. Keene has obtained a coveted Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) designation from the National Association of Realtors, as well as a designation as Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), the highest credential awarded to residential sales agents, managers and brokers. Her professional memberships include the Chicago Board of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, Illinois Association of Realtors, Florida Association of Realtors and Chicago Association of Realtors.
Ms. Keene provided superior service as a sales associate with Coldwell Banker from 1991 to 2007 and as a broker since 2010 with Baird & Warner, a premier real estate services firm based in Chicago that has been recognized as one of the largest independent brokerages in Chicago and its suburbs, with over 2,300 real estate brokers and 29 sales offices found across Northeastern Illinois. She has received numerous top production awards for her outstanding accomplishments as a realtor, including Baird & Warner’s President’s Club and Founder’s Club.
Ms. Keene attributes her success to hard work, dedication and education. She believes in the Pareto Principle, which asserts that 80 percent of outcomes result from 20 percent of all inputs for any given event. For Ms. Keene, the same principle works in the real estate business, as she considers herself among the 20 percent who are the most productive in the industry. As a career highlight, Ms. Keene is proudest of building a very successful real estate business as she had a steep learning curve after coming from corporate sales. In the coming years, she plans to keep growing her reputation as a reliable real estate agent in Illinois. Part of Ms. Keene’s goal is to expand her business in Florida as a part-time worker and becoming self-sufficient enough to merit retirement.
