With more than 30 years of experience to her credit, Ms. Botkin has excelled as the president of Designs Group Consulting since 2015. Active as the co-owner of Betterment Group, she previously worked as the marketing director for Hot Springs Village Property Owners Association from 2011 to 2015, the marketing program development specialist for WellCare from 2010 to 2011, the chief executive officer for the U.S. division of Guilio from 2007 to 2009 and the director of marketing, sales and operations for Milltex Group Inc. from 2000 to 2007. Prior to these appointments, Ms. Botkin refined her skills in a number of positions with Thompson Leads, U.S. Bank in New York, Gruppo Intermodal and Neiman Marcus.
Before embarking on her professional path, Ms. Botkin pursued an education at the University of North Texas, from which she earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in fashion merchandising and business administration in 1993. Beyond her primary responsibilities within the field, she has contributed to rescue and rehabilitation efforts with the Texas Marine Mammal Stranding Network and Galveston Turtle Rescue Unit. As a testament to her impressive endeavors, she was celebrated by the Hot Springs Village Voice with the Reader’s Choice Best Artist Award in 2022 and 2021 as well as with recognition as the 2nd Place Best Business Owner and 2nd Place Business of the Year in 2019. Proud of the opportunity to work internationally and expand upon her businesses in the coming year, Ms. Botkin was honored as the Entrepreneur of the Year by the Hot Springs Village Chamber of Commerce.
