With over three decades of experience to his credit, Mr. Pease is a proven leader in the field of health care administration. Since 2012, he has served as the chief executive officer of The Chautauqua Center, a federally qualified health center and leading provider of medical, dental, pediatric and pharmaceutical care in Dunkirk, New York. As part of his commitment to his profession, Mr. Pease also remains affiliated with several industry-related organizations, including the Dunkirk Chamber of Commerce and the Safety Net Association of Primary Care Affiliated Providers.
Much of Mr. Pease’s performance in the field was born of his academic journey. He began his collegiate studies at SUNY Erie, where he earned an Associate of Science in 1994, and he later earned an Associate of Applied Science in nursing from Jamestown Community College in 1998. After beginning his career in health care, he subsequently continued his studies and achieved both a Bachelor of Science in health care administration in 2004 and a Master of Arts in social policy in 2006 from SUNY Empire State College. To commemorate his many accomplishments in the field, Mr. Pease was recognized with the Economic Development Award from the Chautauqua County Chamber of Commerce in 2020, and he has been recognized by the Health Resources & Service Administration for excellence in several health care categories.
In light of his many accomplishments, Mr. Pease is notably proud to have assisted in establishing a federally qualified health center. To wit, he naturally gravitated towards a career in health care, having always wanted to be able to help others throughout his life. His grandmother was a nurse as well, and she served as a constant source of inspiration for him. In the coming years, Mr. Pease hopes to continue growing his organization and assisting underserved individuals in his community without access to proper health care.
