Kayla M. Edwards, Interior Designer at Springhouse Architects LLC, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in interior design.

Having only graduated in May of 2019, Kayla M. Edwards is a rising leader in the field of interior design. Since 2017, she has specialized as an interior designer, offering her talents to several noteworthy companies and organizations, including OstermanCron, Inc., and John Poe Architects LLC. She recently joined Springhouse Architects LLC, located in Springboro, Ohio, in 2022 as their lead designer. Prior to beginning her career in the design industry, Ms. Edwards excelled as a dance instructor, working with several studios and groups from 2010 to 2017, including Rock City Dance Center, Z Company Arts and the National Dance Alliance.

Before embarking on her vocational journey, Ms. Edwards cultivated her own education, beginning with her time at Arkansas State University-Beebe, where she earned an associate degree in 2012. She subsequently continued her collegiate studies at Miami University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in both interior design and French in 2019. Over the course of her academic career, Ms. Edwards leveraged several opportunities to study abroad, learning not only skills relevant to her field, but also about different cultures and architectural styles overseas.

In addition to her academic credentials, Ms. Edwards is also proud to have received her certification from the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ). As part of her dedication to her profession, she remains affiliated with several industry-related organizations, including the International Interior Design Association, holding the position of co-events chair with the Cincinnati-Dayton City Center.

Over the course of her career, Ms. Edwards has largely attributed her success to her brother, Josh, who always supported her dreams and her parents, who are both retired from the United States Air Force and instilled in her a dedicated work ethic. Adjacent to her primary vocational interests, she is also well-versed in health care and biology, having originally pursued a career as a cytologist. In the coming years, Ms. Edwards hopes to become an NCIDQ advisor, as well as teach as an adjunct professor at her alma mater.
