With almost four decades of experience to his credit, Mr. Harris is a proven expert in the shipping industry. Specializing in trucking and freight transportation, he has worked in his chosen field since 1985, having always loved driving and traveling. In 2014, he began Geneva Roth Transportation LLC, where he currently operates as the president. The company received its certification as a limited liability company (LLC) in 2021, and Mr. Harris is proud to have established it as one of the largest major carriers in the tri-state area.
As a longtime trucker himself, Mr. Harris has noticed his industry changing in recent years, for better or worse. While he currently operates in a larger administrative role, he continues to leverage his previous working experience to manage his business and find success in the field. To wit, he believes the trucking industry should be revamped to emphasize the importance of skill when selecting drivers. Furthermore, Mr. Harris affirms the necessity for those working in the U.S. Department of Transportation to take action and accommodate for evolutions in technology.
As part of his vocational journey, Mr. Harris previously pursued a formal education, completing two years of coursework at the Palmer Theological Seminary of Eastern University. Adjacent to his primary responsibilities, he has also remained involved in his community as a civic-minded citizen, serving as a senior pastor for a congregation in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, from 2000 to 2021. Furthermore, he continues to work alongside the prison ministry in the state. To commemorate his accomplishments in the field, Mr. Harris previously received a Certificate of Recognition as a Pastor from the Germantown Township.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Harris has largely attributed his success to his humility and integrity. Additionally, he finds success in his ability to remain responsible and trust his colleagues. Considering himself a social individual, he is pleased to have been involved in his industry for so many years, as he has been privileged to meet and serve many wonderful individuals. In light of his fulfilling career, Mr. Harris is most notably proud to have been recognized for his dedication to community service.
