Melinda L. Ray, Owner and Agent at Classic Estates Realty, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in real estate.

Ms. Ray has found success since 2021 as an agent and the owner of Classic Estates Realty. In these posts, she is the listing specialist for the company and focuses on establishing relationships with other businesses or potential customers. She attributes her success to her belief that you should do business with others the way you want others to do business with you. Ms. Ray believes that if you treat others fairly and listen to their perspectives on business dealings, you learn from them and achieve greater success.

Prior to her current posts, Ms. Ray garnered experience as a professional realtor with The Ray Team under eXp Realty, a licensed realtor with Keller Williams Realty, a promoter with Body By Vi, and a sales associate with Van Wert Real Estate Services LLC. From 2011 to 2013, she worked as a sales manager with ANN Inc., and from 1999 to 2005, she was a marketing director with Standard Pacific Homes. Throughout her career, Ms. Ray has been recognized with multiple awards and accolades, including earning an Employee of the Month Award, a Sales Agent of the Month Award, and a Sales Agent of the Year Award.

In preparation for her career in real estate, Ms. Ray attended the Bob Hogue School of Real Estate Inc., earning a master’s degree in residential marketing and a diploma from the Realtor Institute. She is a Certified Residential Specialist, a Certified Sales Person, and holds additional credentials in express offers. Ms. Ray has maintained affiliation with The Luxury Institute and the Graduate Realtor Institute, and was previously on the Agent Leadership Council with Keller Williams Realty.

Ms. Ray considers her most notable achievement to be her longevity, as the real estate industry can be volatile and hostile. She has been in the industry through the 2008 housing bubble bursting and subsequent financial crash and continues to find success. Ms. Ray achieved her first real estate license in 1986, and each time she attempted to leave the industry, she found herself drawn back in. She has worked across multiple states throughout her career, including Georgia, Florida, Utah, Arizona, and Nevada. In the coming years, she aims to focus on luxury real estate while still offering services to first-time homebuyers.
