Ronald James Bales, Retired Certified Public Accountant, Author, and Writer, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in accounting, financial planning, and writing.
From 1988 to 2007, Mr. Bales was the owner of his own accounting and financial planning firm. He is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Financial Planner, and prior to owning his own business, he worked as a CPA with Rooer, Onstott, Bales and Broehl CPAs PC from 1975 to 1988. Mr. Bales additionally shared his experience as a professor in the CPA program with Columbia Gorge Community College in Dalles, Oregon. In preparation for his career pursuits, he attended Oregon State University and graduated with a Master of Business Administration in 1974.
Since his retirement, Mr. Bales has worked as an author and writer. He authored the book “Eagle Creek: A Mystery Novel” in 2021 and is working on a second novel titled “Consequences.” Mr. Bales attributes his success to his interest in doing work that is beneficial to others, and he became involved in his industry after experiencing the tragic passing of his sister. His family was not wealthy enough to sue the hospital, and Mr. Bales decided to pursue a career in finance to enable him to meet his needs and the needs of his family. In the coming years, he hopes to complete and publish “Consequences.”
