Maggie Mers, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of MBM International Logistics, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in business administration.
In preparation for her career pursuits, Ms. Mers attended Beijing University, completing coursework in hotel management. In 1984, she completed coursework in computer information systems at the Renmin University in China before immigrating to the United States in 1986. In 1991, Ms. Mers earned a master’s degree in cosmetology. Alongside her formal degrees, she holds an Ocean Transportation Intermediary Non-Vessel-Operating Common Carrier license from the Federal Maritime Commission. Since 2007, she has found success as the founder and chief executive officer of MBM International Logistics. Prior to this position, she was an independent international logistics consultant and translator from 1993 to 2006.
Ms. Mers has been recognized for her professional excellence with numerous awards and accolades. In 2019, she earned a Top Ten Asian American Business Enterprise Award, and in 2018, she earned a Fast 100 Asian American Business Award from the US Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation. In 2018, Ms. Mers was recognized as one of the 25 Most Influential Asian Americans in Georgia by the Georgia Asian Times, and The National Association of Professional Women named her Woman of the Year in 2010 and 2011. She attributes her success to her passion and determination, and in the coming years, she plans to continue helping her community.
