Bill E. Henricks, art teacher at the Hazelwood School District and founder and chief executive officer of Phone Locker by Jordiam LLC, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the field of education.

Having accumulated nearly three decades of experience, Mr. Henricks has cultivated a career of excellence as an educator and an entrepreneur. For the majority of his career, he has served as an art teacher in the Hazelwood School District in St. Louis, Missouri. Adjacent to his primary vocation, he recently began Phone Locker, his own business venture by Jordiam LLC, in 2019. As Mr. Henricks can attest, cell phones are one of the leading distractions in modern-day classrooms. Phone Locker is a system meant to assist students in avoiding such distractions, serving as safe and secure locations within school classrooms where children can leave their mobile devices during class.

From a young age, Mr. Henricks naturally gravitated towards a career in children’s education. To wit, he has worked as a student coach since he was 19. His passion in the field drives him to creative coursework options and smarter solutions to new problems faced by students, hence his recent invention. As part of his dedication in the field, Mr. Henricks remains affiliated with the National Eating Disorders Association, and he regularly participates in charitable efforts from various humane societies.

As part of his vocational journey, Mr. Henricks cultivated his own education, beginning with his time at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in education in 1995. He subsequently continued his studies at Lindenwood University, receiving a Master of Education in 2003. Mr. Henricks also honorably served with the United States Army National Guard for six years.

To commemorate his accomplishments in the field, Mr. Henricks was previously honored with the Star Teacher Award and a Coach of the Year Award. Over the course of his career, his family has served as a constant source of inspiration. Furthermore, he received a great deal of feedback from fellow inventors when creating Phone Locker. Their advice proved to be invaluable during the creative process, and he recommends all other future inventors should similarly reach out to others to ensure the highest quality product can be achieved. In light of his fulfilling career, Mr. Henricks is most notably proud of the success of his students.
