Title: President
Company: American Sugar Beet Association
Location: Hallock, Minnesota, United States
Daniel L. Younggren, President of the American Sugar Beet Association, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in agriculture.
With more than 50 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Younggren has excelled as the president of the American Sugar Beet Association, having previously been appointed as the president of the Red River Sugarbeet Growers Association. In addition to this position, he has found success as the owner of Larry Younggren and Sons Inc., with which he has also been active as a farmer since 1969. Beyond his primary professional responsibilities, Mr. Younggren has contributed to the First Presbyterian Church of Hallock as a board member, the Drayton Factory District as the chairman, and both the Hallock Arena Board and the Hallock EDA Board as a member.
Mr. Younggren initially pursued an education at North Dakota State University, at which he completed undergraduate coursework. Having received recognition for his years of professional excellence, he attributes his success to his willingness to be open-minded, work with others and treat people with fair and equal judgment. Growing up on his family’s 6,500-acre dryland farm, which cultivates sugar beets, soybeans and wheat, Mr. Younggren aims to pass on the farm to his successor in the coming years, as he has laid the groundwork for it to continue as he has operated in the future.
