Michael T. Glenn, former professional basketball player for the National Basketball Association and former basketball analyst at Bally Sports, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in sports analytics.

With several decades of experience to his credit, Mr. Glenn has cultivated a career of excellence as an athlete and sports analyst. From 1977 to 1987, he was a professional basketball player in the National Basketball Association (NBA), playing with the Buffalo Braves, New York Knicks, Atlanta Hawks, and Milwaukee Bucks in that time. Well-known for his talented mid-range jump shots, he earned the nickname “The Stinger” from his teammates on the Knicks. After retiring from playing, he became a basketball analyst with Bally Sports (formerly Fox Sports South). Since his exit from professional work, Mr. Glenn has taken to teaching general sports education and history, and he founded the Mike Glenn All-Star Basketball Camp for the Hearing-Impaired.

Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Glenn pursued a formal education, earning a Bachelor of Science in mathematics at Southern Illinois University in 1977. To commemorate his accomplishments in the field, he was inducted into the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame and the Southern Missouri Valley Hall of Fame. Outside of his vocational interests, he is also fond of collection books, newspapers and magazines that capture the history and culture of African Americans. In the coming years, Mr. Glenn hopes to continue his work as an educator.
