Charlotte A. Uhlik, Real Estate Investor at DC Legacy Properties LLC, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in real estate investment.
With many years of experience to her credit, Ms. Uhlik has excelled as a real estate investor for DC Legacy Properties LLC, a rental property business, since 2019. An expert on passive investments and commercial properties, she is responsible for bookkeeping for four properties in Jacksonville, Florida, while also flipping houses in conjunction with a contractor and investing in commercial properties such as multifamily complexes in Nevada, Georgia and Virginia. Renowned as a quick learner with integrity who conducts her own research, Ms. Uhlik controls ADGK Capital and ADGK Property Solutions as well, pursues additional investment opportunities through Equity Street Capital and Big D Properties, and hopes to acquire her real estate license in the near future.
Ms. Uhlik began her career as a school librarian for 15 years before accepting a position as a native English-speaking classroom associate for a second and third-grade Spanish Immersion School Program. She subsequently worked as kindergarten associate and paraprofessional where she accompanied and assisted a young girl with autism until an injury from a car accident medically disqualified her from continuing in these roles. In the years that followed, Ms. Uhlik volunteered with a local inner-city pre-school system, where she helped teach and prepare children before they entered the public school system.
Before embarking on her professional path, Ms. Uhlik pursued a formal education, graduating with a high school diploma. She further refined her skills while working with her ex-husband, who had experience managing multi-million dollar companies and taught her about purchasing properties outright near the beginning of her real estate investment career. Beyond her primary responsibilities in her field, Ms. Uhlik has contributed to St. Mark Preschool as a volunteer.
In light of her exceptional skill in upgrading homes, Ms. Uhlik was notably presented with the Ken Kringle Historic Preservation Award. She is incredibly proud of learning new things and her ability to grow as a professional, having undergone a significant transition during her journey from an elementary school librarian to an accomplished real estate investor. Looking toward the future, Ms. Uhlik hopes to dedicate her attention to improving inner-city living conditions for people while flipping houses in her present post.
