With more than 30 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Meier has excelled as a retail store manager and sales manager for Signet Jewelers in Anchorage, Alaska since 2003. In this position, his stellar efforts have been recognized with eight incentive award trips for ranking within the top one percent of all sales managers as well as mentoring four sales representatives who have since ranked in the top one percent of sales representatives across the aforementioned company. Prior to these appointments, Mr. Meier began his career in a number of roles with Don’s Jewelry and Design between 1991 and 2000, including as a repair associate, a jewelry designer and a sales associate.
To support his professional ambitions, Mr. Meier has completed training and garnered numerous certifications from Gem City College, the Gemological Institute of America, the Signet Corporation and the Diamond Council of America. Happily working alongside his wife, he attributes his success to his passion for his industry as well as his holistic approach and his versatility. Among his many highlights throughout his 20-year tenure with Signet Jewelers, he is incredibly proud of building the annual revenue of his store from $1.2 million to $2.8 million in addition to the gratification he receives from the satisfaction of his clients upon the receipt of their designs. Looking toward the future, Mr. Meier hopes to complete building his family’s cabin while debating consulting for small, independent business owners within his field and eventually leaving Alaska upon his eventual retirement.
