With more than 35 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Stewart has excelled as the president and chief executive officer with SE3 LLC in Kansas City, Missouri since 2003. Prior to this position, he found success as the president and chief executive officer with EPC LLC from 1986 to 2003. During this time, Mr. Stewart was affiliated with the Texas Association of African American Chambers of Commerce, the Missouri chapter of the American Council of Engineering Companies, the Kansas City Black Chamber of Commerce, The Kansas City Athletic League, Lake Lafayette and Ronald McDonald House Charities.
Before embarking upon his professional path, Mr. Stewart pursued an education at Kansas City Technical Institute, from which he graduated with an Associate of Arts in drafting technology and civil engineering in 1978. He subsequently obtained an engineering certification in structural sheet metal design at Queen Technical School in 1984. Mr. Stewart has additionally earned his business certification.
As a testament to his professional excellence, Mr. Stewart was recognized among the 50 Missourians People Should Know in 2018. Moreover, SE3 LLC was honored among the Top Firms in Kansas City. Mr. Stewart was likewise celebrated with a Scale Award in Kansas City.
Mr. Stewart was drawn to his field upon witnessing the creativity on display in his parent’s hometown in Jamaica, as he was able to integrate this experience into his formal education and, eventually, the quality system for his business. Among the many highlights of his career, he is incredibly proud to have worked on the reconstruction of the State of Liberty. Looking toward the future, Mr. Stewart hopes to become more involved with projects surrounding federal infrastructure, including national parks.
